Carol
"Well, they was real good. They answered all my questions and everything, and that’s what I needed, so I appreciate what they’ve done for me."

Marilyn
"I chose to participate with BCMP because I was stressed, felt that no one was hearing me, or engaging in sufficient communication to alieve [sic] my worry. Then BCMP came along. Having someone who is willing to listen and help is becoming more and more unusual these days, and speaking up is my way of thanking them for understanding and caring. My experience was excellent. After being frustrated for more than a month by the lack of communication by both the hospital and the nursing home, someone was willing to listen to me and willing to do something. I also want to thank BCMP for making me aware of some of the home care responsibilities I would be facing, because up until that time, no one had talked to me about what would happen when my husband came home."

Bob
"Well, as it was explained to me, that you are contracted with Medicare as a patient advocate, and I thought it would be worthwhile, taking into consideration my wife’s condition."

DeeAnn
"Oh, she is wonderful. Kathryn’s a really nice lady. She was very precise and directive, you know, oriented on how to solve things, and what to do and who to call. So it was very – it was very informative as far as that’s concerned, but she was very pleasant and professional."

Tim
"You know, they’re trying to look out for Mom’s best interests and our best interests. In this day and age, it’s very hard to get people that are caring and compassionate enough to go that extra mile to assist people in our situation."

Elizabeth
"I found my experience working with her to be fine. You know, she was very understanding. She was, you know, very nice to me. Very helpful. I would call again when I have a problem, like I say, I have one now."

Jane
"I didn’t even know about that program, and it seems like it’s very valid and something that I hope they continue with. It’s – it definitely is nice to know there is somebody else there kind of advocating and helping. Because this is a very tough situation and you don’t always know where to turn, and having that program out there is very helpful."

Patricia
"It was awesome. It was awesome. She – Miss Gloria Caldwell – I’m not kidding with you, she is an angel in the sky. I’m so glad that I – that she called me back and actually talked with me, because I was so frustrated. I did not know which way to go. I didn’t know what to do, and she – after her talking with me and helping me through all this and helping me understand, it really gave me the courage to push further instead of just giving up and saying “Okay, well here we are.” And it really helped tremendously to know that you’ve got someone beside you helping you along the way, and that’s what she did."

Esmeralda
"I chose to participate because I actually had a good experience with the – my representative. She actually went out of her way, like, making phone calls and making sure everything was – she got things done for my mom over the phone, so we actually found a therapist. So like I said, it was definitely customer service."

Michael
"So, the lady I talked to, whose first name was Tonya, I believe, had been a nurse in long-term care and others for quite a while. And so, since I’m a consultant pharmacist for the last 20 years, you know, I’m pretty much doing chart reviews in long-term care, it was kind of like she and I were, like, totally in tune. You know, I’d get ready to ask the question, you know, about maybe doing this and she would say, “Well, you know, you could do this.” And so, like, whenever I would think of something, she would think of it or vice versa. And so it was really great, and she was – she really seemed to care about my mom and the issues that were going on with her. You know, giving suggestions about this or that. And so, I mean, it was very professional. It was very great."
